Technical Department


Technical Director

The technical director is responsible for assembling and managing the team responsible for set design and build and audio/video system design and operation.

Below is a brief list of responsibilities and tasks (more detailed list at request):

*Coordinate with the Director and set builder about the design and build of the set
*Coordinate technical (audio/video) systems
*Responsible for all set and technical related activities

Set Builder

The Set Builder will be responsible for realizing the set construction plans as outlined by the Technical Director/Scenic Designer.

Below is a brief list of responsibilities and tasks (more detailed list at request):

*Provide estimates for labor and materials to Technical Director.
*Make suggestions for and help assemble labor staff for purchasing, building, and tear-down phases.
*Tear down and load out set at completion of production run.

Electrician

The Electricians will be responsible for the distribution of power and lamps in the lighting grid as directed by the Lighting Designer.

Below is a brief list of responsibilities and tasks (more detailed list at request):

*Hang and focus lamps.
*Help with load in and load out.
*Ensure safety of the hanging of all lamps.

Light Board Op

The Light Board Op will be responsible for all setup, programming, maintenance, and performance of lighting cues for the rehearsal and run of the show.

Below is a brief list of responsibilities and tasks (more detailed list at request):

*Program (and update/re-program) light board as directed by Lighting Designer.
*Ensure integrity of cues by running through cues before each show.
*Perform cues during all tech rehearsal and live performances.

Sound Op

The sound op is responsible for setting up and running audio and video during performances and rehearsals.

*Setup and tear down audio/video equipment for each performance and select rehearsals.
*Know cues and operate sound console and projection system during rehearsals and performances.
*Work with Technical Director to develop an input sheet

Marketing Department


Group Sales Associate

Help others experience Crooked Road and make our audiences full! Bring in groups and connect with coordinators from various organizations and churches.

*Manage group sales and payment
*Contact target groups to promote the group sales option

Social Media Guru

Help accelerate Streetlamp Studio’s online presence! Help to pimp out and manage Streetlamp’s twitter, facebook, and myspace accounts.

Front of House/Hospitality Department


House Manager

The House Manager ensures that the Crooked Road experience begins at the entryway into the theater through cultivating a welcoming and well-oiled atmosphere.

Below is a brief list of responsibilities and tasks (more detailed list at request):

*Create and coordinate a front of house crew
*Prep front of house and gallery materials
*Train and supervise front of house staff
*Coordinate opening and closing the house with the stage manager

Front of House Staff/Ushers

Be the face of Crooked Road! Greet guests, sell tickets and concessions, and get to know new people and make new friends.

*Help set-up and take down the front of house and gallery
*Manage will-call, sell concessions, or usher guests

Backstage


Assistant Stage Manager

The Assistant Stage Manager is the rock of the backstage and the life-saving compliment to the Stage Manager. The ASM must be a team player with an exemplary attitude.

Below is a brief list of responsibilities and tasks (more detailed list at request):

*Attend all performances and rehearsals (see far below)
*Help set and shift scenes during rehearsals and performances
*Manage prop food (purchase, prep, set)

Stagehand

While working with a team, Stagehands will literally get a backstage pass to the inner-workings of professional live theatre. Best of all, no experience is necessary!

Below is a brief list of responsibilities and tasks (more detailed list at request):

*Help Stage Manager adjust furniture and carry props on and off stage during scene shifts
*Help to set-up and pack up the stage before and after performances
*Attend at least four (4) performances and preferably at least one (1) rehearsal
